1. WHAT IS BOOKVOOK?
 

BOOKVOOK is an online store for books and imported magazine as well as a book rental service. Our online store is for across India and rental service is for NCR region ( Delhi, Noida & Gurgaon ).

   
2. HOW MANY BOOKS AND COPIES DO YOU HAVE??
 

FOR BOOK STORE:
 

The list is exhaustive and constantly updated with latest additions. The magazines are only imported so you will either have to subscribe for the same or book your copy before hand.

FOR LIBRAY:

Here also the tittles we carry are in thousands and we carry 2 copies of each book and 5 copies of bestsellers.

   
3. BENEFITS?
 

Other than the fact that you can sit in the comfort of your home and shop or rent the title some more benefits are recorded below;

a.    The books and magazine are delivered at your door step absolutely free of charge. For our rental service the books are picked up from your premises.
b.    You are kept informed about new releases as well as additions.
c.    Other than getting to read the latest titles you can also share your thoughts on a particular title with other members through our blog.
d.    You can gift a book from our online store to any person in India from sitting at home and we shall deliver the same with best compliments from you.
e.    You can gift a membership of our rental service to anyone in NCR.

MEMBERSHIP
1. HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER??
 

FOR BOOKSTORE

We do not make it mandatory for you to become a member with us and you can shop for books as a guest also. However if you do become a member by clicking on the “REGISTER “ tab it helps you in keeping track of your past orders and helps in sending you the latest releases as well as forthcoming ones.

FOR LIBRARY

To avail our online rental service it requires you to become a member with us. The membership plans and prices are mentioned on the link “PLANS “and please refer to the same.

   
2. IS THERE A DUE DATE TO RETURN THE BOOK??

You can keep the book as long as you want till the time you keep paying your subscription / montjly rental fee. There are no late fees, hidden charges etc. However the next set shall be delivered to you only on the return of previous books.
Also if you fail to pay your subscription and wish to cancel the same then we shall collect the books from you.

   
3. WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP??
 

Though we would hate to lose you, but you are free to cancel the membership, just return the books if you still have them and we shall return the security deposit back to you.

   
4. HOW DO I SELECT BOOKS FOR RENTAL SERVICE??
 

Please select the books to your bookshelf and the books shall be sedn to you as per your priority and availability.

   
5. WHAT HAPPENS IF THE BOOK I SELECT IN QUEUE IS IN CIRCULATION??
 

This is the reason we have the save to my bookshelf option, we send the books that are available with us as per your bookshelf.

   
6. How do I come to know the book in circulation I available to be sent to me??
 

Once you select the book and the same is in circulation we generate a waiting number and provide the same to you informing you how many people are before you on the book. Once your turn comes and if you want the book by returning the previous ones we send the same to you.

The due date is calculated 30 days from the date we receive your payment.

   
4. IS MY CREDIT CARD DATA SAFE??
 

We do not store any credit card data at our end. We use CC avenues for all transactions and they provide us with SSL security.   

   
5. WHERE CAN I SEE MY BILLING DETAILS??

You can visit My Account ad sign in with your user name and password. It contains your complete details as filled by you and the transaction history

FOR LIBRARY

As mentioned above the My Account section carries full details, books rented by you, books currently issued to you and the ones you have read in the past.

SHIPPING
1. WHAT IS THE SHIPPING COST??

All books will be charges a shipping of Rs. 15 each.

FOR LIBRARY

The library service is available only in Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon only the books are shipped at no extra cost.

   
2. HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE THE ORDER ??
 

FOR BOOKSTORE

All book pages have delivery time mentioned .The time mentioned is working days that means public holidays and Sundays are not included. Other than the above mentioned the time mentioned if for orders placed prior to 12 Noon.

FOR LIBRARY

All orders placed by 12 noon shall be delivered within 2 working days.

   
3. DO I HAVE TO RETURN THE BOOKS I ALREADY HAVE WHEN NEW BOOKS ARE DELIVERED??

As per our plans the books are delivered in the sets of 2. With the delivery of new books the old books have to be returned to the same person delivering the books.  Thus we request for you to be very sure when you are calling for new books as we will not take only one but both the books in return.

   
4. HOW DO I KNOW IF THE BOOKS HAVE BEEN SHIPPED??
 

Once the book has been shipped we send the details of the same on your email address.

   
5. WHAT DO I DO IF I DO NOT RECEIVE THE BOOKS??

1. HOW DO I BOOK FOR PICK UP??

Just send us and email at pickup@bookvook.com with your account number and we shall do the same, you can also send us a SMS at 9818385025 through your mobile phone with your account no. and pick up and we shall get the books picked as well as new books delivered as per your plan.
 

   
2. WHAT DO I DO IF THE BOOKS ARE DAMAGED DELIVERY??

We make it a point that the books are always in good condition when delivered so we check the same before shipping the same. However if the book is delivered in damaged condition please advise us within the day and we shall replace the same.

FOR LIBRARY

We take extreme precaution in sending the books and prior to dispatching the same we check it and send. In case it is damaged on delivery, please show it at once to the person delivering the same and we shall replace it.

   
3. WHAT IF THE BOOK IS LOST OR DAMAGED BY ME??
